“Imagine your story” at St.Clair Shores Public Library this summer. Summer Reading Club is a free program held during July and August for children of all ages. Check in online for activity sheets, videos, stories, challenges and more.
Warren Public Library | 1 City Square, Warren, MI 48093
Although the warren Public Library is currently closed, they’re still offering programming for youth of all ages online. Signing up is simple: Visit the Summer Reading Club site and create an account. The more books you read the more points you earn which earns entries for wonderful prizes. Prizes this year will include a Kindle Fire, various gift cards for adults, a Nintendo Switch, a bicycle, and more.
City of Sterling Heights Library | 40255 Dodge Park Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48313
Catering to babies, listeners, readers, special needs, teens and adults, the City of Sterling Heights Library divides its program into these 6 distinct groups. This summer the program will give away over $5,000 worth of summer reading incentives. For each chapter read, participants will be entered into a raffle for one of three $20 gift card choices. There over 250 gift cards to be given away.

Due to the pandemic, Fraser Public Library will be hosting their summer reading program digitally. Their goal this year is not reading a certain amount of pages or books, but rather reading every single day. The more days you read and record, the higher the chance to win some stellar prizes. For each week of reading, youth may select a book as a prize!
Harrison District Library | 105 E Main Street, Harrison, MI 48625
Harrison District Library summer reading program is free to people of all ages. Anyone can participate, the only requirement is internet access. If you don’t have that, stop by the library and they’ll get you set up! Support for this programming comes from the Michigan Council for Art & Cultural Affairs and the Saginaw Art & Enrichment Commission.

The Romeo District Library’s Summer reading program is going full steam ahead. Youth of all ages can sign up to track their reading participation for the summer and earn various prizes and rewards. Age categories include youth, teens, and adult programming.

The Chesterfield Township Library’s summer reading program provides a reading challenge for participants of all ages which includes youth, teens and adults.The summer reading challenge for 2020 is completely online. Chesterfield Township Library has a big goal this season of 2,500 books read this summer.
